Have you heard of the butterfly effect?

Basically, small inputs can create massive outcomes over time.

  • Tiny shifts.

  • Small habits.

  • One conversation.

  • One decision.

  • One kind word.

And suddenly… everything is different.

We tend to think change has to be dramatic to matter.

Big moves. Big risks. Big announcements.

But most transformation starts quietly.

The five-minute walk that becomes a daily routine.

The seed planted in the garden that feeds a family.

The message sent that opens a door.

The encouragement spoken that changes someone’s confidence forever.

You may never see the full ripple effect of what you do today.

But that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

  • So plant the seed.

  • Send the text.

  • Start the project.

  • Say the prayer.

  • Offer the help.

Small things aren’t small.

They’re beginnings. 🦋

💧 There's Also The Ripple Effect

Drop a single stone into still water.

One small splash…

and then circles begin to form.

They move outward.

Wider.

Farther.

Touching water the stone never physically reached.

That’s the ripple effect.

It’s the idea that one action — good or bad — doesn’t stop where it starts.

It expands. It influences. It multiplies.

One smile can shift someone’s mood.

That mood can change how they speak to their child.

That child carries confidence into school.

That confidence changes a friendship.

You never see the full circle.

But it’s there.

We underestimate small choices because we measure impact too quickly.

We look for instant results instead of long-term waves.

Kindness ripples.

Bitterness ripples.

Generosity ripples.

Courage ripples.

Every word, every post, every decision enters the water.

The question isn’t if it will spread.

It’s what kind of ripple you want to create. 💧
